Building Process
1. Meet a Selah Consultant
Discuss what you are looking to achieve and the ideas and the vision you have for the end product. Look at the costs associated with what you want to achieve, give an indication of time frames required and discuss consent issues that may be an issue.
We also spend time going through the process Selah Construction uses from the initial meeting to completing the construction.
Once you are clear with the process Selah uses we then discuss concepts plans
2. Meet designer and commence the development of concept plans
Meet our Architect and discuss options and possible layouts for your home until you are completely satisfied.
3. Finalise concept plans and Budgets
We will Finalise the concept plans with you, and price up the concept plans to estimate actual building costs.
At this stage if you find this is no longer viable for your situation then the concept plans are your to keep for a discounted price of $900
4. Working Drawings
Our architect will draw up the working drawings ready for council approval.
5. Finalise Price and details
We will look closely at all the construction detail and costs and provide you with a comprehensive action plan and price.
Agreement to build is signed and a deposit is paid
Should you decide not to proceed you, architectural and associated costs shall be charged.
6. Council approval
This can take 20 days or more.
7. Construction starts
We take care and manage of all the management of details, sub-trades, payments, and ensure the highest quality is maintained.
8. Construction Finishes
We make sure you are 100% satisfied with your new or renovated home or project and that it is completely approved by the council.
9. ENJOY!
Enjoy your new or renovated home or project (newly renovated home delete) for years to come.
Complete Project Management:
We use only highly skilled professional tradesman . Our Project Manager will co-ordinate Plumbers to painters, interior designers to council inspection. We use tradesman that deliver quality workmanship so that the process flows smoothly.
Quality checklists
Our Project Managers check all workmanship against our quality checklist. An example of this is our bathroom division where we have a 54 point assurance checklist. It is our goal to ensure you are completely satisfied as the work progresses.
Our conscientious builders have an outstanding reputation for good work ethic and in working well with the clients they build for. Before we undertake any project, we put in a programmed schedule so that your project is built efficiently as possible. We emphasize good communication between all parties so we all know what’s happening and when.
Looking after your home
Building can create disturbances to your home living environment. We will do out utmost to minimize these and to provide solutions to ensure that we create the most effective solutions to meet your everyday requirements.
We will take care of your building, property and surrounding environment. We will leave your facilities and property clean and tidy when we are finished.
